The first ever YPW Improv Class proved to be a great success last Monday night. The Phenomenas, as they were affectionally called by their teacher, Jen Defratis, joked, screamed, tapped danced and entertained the audience with their wacky antics for more than 45 minutes.
For those unfamiliar with Improvisation, it is an acting performance with no script, no lines, and no life-line. Actors must think on their feet using bits of information made up by the audience. They must:
- Establish a platform
- Identify a problem
- Solve the problem
- End the scene
All this while adapting to rules set by the show’s moderator.

Peter Pan Cast is Announced:
Theater Shenandoah will be performing the Broadway version of Peter Pan on June 1-4 at the old Edinburg school in Edinburg, Va. Check back for more details.
